An all about me activity is a fun way to get to know your new class during the first week of school. They help build a sense of community in the classroom, and allow children to express their individuality, share stories and interests and make connections with their peers.
If you’re looking for something a bit different to an all about me worksheet, why not try a foldable activity? Self-portrait all about me foldable activity
Great for: Making something truly personalized!
Children pick a template that best matches their hairstyle. They then draw eyes, eyebrows, skin/hair color, and lips, creating a cute self-portrait!
The inside prompts children to add some information about themselves, including their name, age, something they are good at, a word to describe themselves, and something they enjoy learning. Want to change up some of the writing prompts? The template page is editable.

Great for: Younger students (lower elementary, key stage 1), bulletin board displays.

Great for: Older elementary or upper KS2/lower KS3, getting arty alongside writing.
You may have tried a coat of arms activity before but have you seen one that folds?
