Dragonfly life cycle sequence and fold science craft activity

Explore the life cycle of a dragonfly with this fun foldable science activity. Students will LOVE that they can open their finished foldout to reveal the life cycle stages inside - a hands-on alternative to a worksheet!

This printable cut-and-paste activity could be used to support a lesson on insects/bugs, freshwater habitats, or pond life. It also looks great in an interactive science notebook.

The templates

There are 3 templates to allow for differentiation if required.

• Template 1: Children color the template, match the words to the pictures, glue, cut, and fold.
• Templates 2: Children color the template, sequence the life cycle stages, glue, cut, and fold. Option to sequence the pictures with stage names or short descriptions.
• Template 3: As above but with a different dragonfly design for the outside part.
