Are you looking for a fun alternative to a worksheet to help your students review the digestive system? This cut and paste cute poop foldable activity is ideal for interactive science notebooks, science centers, and to support learning around digestion and human body systems.

The templates

This resource has 3 similar templates with label options for differentiation:

  • Children color, match the labels to the pictures, glue, cut, and fold
  • As above but with a straight cutting edge.
  • Children color, cut out and sequence the organs/parts of the digestive system, glue, cut, and fold. There are 2 label options - one with just the names of the organs, the other with descriptions.

Please note, this activity covers the parts of the digestive system that food enters: the mouth, esophagus, stomach, small and large intestines, and rectum. It does not cover the role of the liver, gall bladder, or pancreas.

Benefits of this resource

  • Low-prep
  • Hands-on alternative to science worksheet
  • Can be used as part of an introduction or a review/assessment
  • Suitable for interactive notebooks
  • Students learn about the digestive system AND practice following directions/sequencing.

My kids and nieces loved it — I ALSO LOVED IT AND HAD TO MAKE ONE FOR MYSELF! I keep up on the wall near the dinner table( don't judge me;)) and will quiz the kids on the digestive process and they’ve got it down!
Thanks so much for making this educational, and fun!!

Just what I was looking for

I like it but there is multiple printouts, and it’s very confusing where to glue what. I started gluing things together and realized it was not in the order. It was intended to be after having everything colored in.
It’s a cute print out after all, but too many formats and pages.
